somuchlove
somuchlove is a creative community spreading love through art.
I began somuchlove in March of 2018. The purpose was to combine my passion for art and speaking on social injustice. I made simple drawings of animals, which is all I knew how to do, and they were no good. After a few months, I launched our first social injustice advocacy drop surrounding Autism Awareness Month. I collaborated with a family friend who has autism to create designs and ended up grossing $1,000 to donate toward ASAN (Autistic Self Advocacy Network). Toward the end of high school, I felt it wasn’t the right time to continue because of work and college applications.
In 2023, my opportunity as an art student at the University of Oregon opened the door to starting it in Eugene. I began gathering talented friends from around campus to help with some projects.
